Submission 2

The view from my couch was unremarkable and often calming, but on this one day, there was a change. The darkness was overwhelming, and I could not find a way out. My future was bleak, and I felt hopeless.

Somehow, (not overnight), I found hope, courage and ever so much support. There was a wall of family and friends holding me up until I was able to stand on my own two feet. They are still here, walking with me every step of the way. I continue to pray for strength and peace.

I now see hope and light, and I’m eager for my future. I’m so deeply grateful that I walked through the darkness and have found joy and hope.
