Week 1: Breaking the Silence

Hey Y’all! Welcome back to All Ears. We’ve had an absolutely amazing launch week. Here’s what we have accomplished:

In our first week, we’ve received over $2000 in donations, with two donors contributing over $500 each. These donations have reached us from all across the country, ranging from close to home in Texas to Ohio, California, Hawaii, and more.

Within the Eliphino Team, we wanted to highlight some of our MVP volunteers from this week:

Savannah Riggins, Willa Bock, Penelope Durbin, Sofia Flores, and Peyton Dorsey. We wouldn’t be able to do any of this without y’all!

We’ve had many contributors from our community share anonymous submissions, telling their story or ‘sharing their elephant’ to break their silence. One submission stated that the “darkness was overwhelming, and [they] could not find a way out… but somehow found hope.” These vulnerable stories remind us that feelings are not abstract or foreign. Many people have these moments of very real struggle, and each one is valid. No one is alone, and there is a critical vulnerability in leaning on those around you when needed. Don’t be afraid to lean on your people and seek that support.

The Elephant in the Room

Welcome to the Eliphino Community!

Today marks Day 1 of our virtual launch campaign, “The Elephant in the Room.” From November 15 through December 15, we’ll be sharing weekly blog posts that document the heart, growth, and behind-the-scenes moments of this campaign.

About This Blog
Here on ”All Ears,” we’ll share:
Weekly Updates on campaign progress, milestones, and events
Personal stories submitted anonymously through our “Share Your Elephant” form
Spotlights on volunteers, donors, and community members
Reflections on why our mission matters and what we’re learning along the way
Ways you can get involved, support, or make a difference

Our goal is to make this blog a place where readers can see the real impact happening in real time.

We created Eliphino so that our community is not facing its “Elephants” alone. Mental health is unpredictable, but support can be a constant. Whether you’re here to share, to learn, or simply to feel part of something bigger, we’re grateful you found us!

We hope you’ll follow along, find joy in this community, and help us bring light to the conversations that too often go unspoken.

Here’s to a month of compassion, connection, and courage.
