Our Mission

Bringing communities together to foster mental health and suicide awareness, support on-the-ground projects, and ignite collective compassion through local action and shared support.

What We Do

We believe mental health is unpredictable—but support shouldn’t be. Eliphino is a grant-based nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health accessibility and awareness. We provide funding, resources, and collaborative opportunities for community initiatives that promote emotional well-being, education, and support. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations working to make mental health care more inclusive, compassionate, and effective.

Why Eliphino?

The name Eliphino comes from our father’s favorite joke: “What do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhino?“Eliphino,” or “Hell if I know.” Beyond the light-hearted humor, the name symbolizes the uncertainty of life, specifically, mental health. It serves as a reminder that we can’t always know what the future holds, so it’s important to focus on the present and care for our mental well-being today.

Our Story

We lost our father to suicide in May 2022 after his lifelong battle with Bipolar disorder. Despite his struggles, he was one of the most vibrant souls we’ve ever known—creative, curious, and endlessly caring toward everyone he met. Our dad taught us the importance of continual growth and compassion, values that continue to guide us every day. One of his final wishes to us was simple: trust yourselves.
Eliphino was born from that trust—a gut feeling turned into purpose. Created in his memory and in the spirit of his resilience, Eliphino supports mental health initiatives that help others find light, connection, and hope through life’s unpredictability.
